Sigona’s April 2011 Olive Oil of the Month: Ultra Proprietary Blend

We’re excited to announce this new spotlight feature for our olive oils and balsamics. As you know, we have an extensive line of fresh & healthy olive oils, with new varieties arriving continuously as we follow the olive seasons around the globe. We want to help you become more familiar with our selection and to do so, we’ll feature an oil a month.

It’s currently olive season in the Northern Hemisphere so we’re kicking off our monthly features with a California oil. If you’d like to sign up for our monthly olive oil e-newsletters, send an email to share@sigonas.com.

The April 2011 olive oil of the month is the…

California Ultra Proprietary Blend

  • A unique blend of three, new crop, California-grown olives: Mission, Manzanillo & Navidio Blanco
  • The Ultra has a high polyphenol count of 480 — that’s terrific in an oil (polyphenols are the healthy antioxidants found in olive oil)
  • The three olive varieties used for this oil were grown in the Sierra Foothills
