Summer Stone Fruit Sangria

There is no harm in zhuzhing up some red wine, especially during the warmer summer days. Try our sangria recipe! Some sangria lists liquor as an ingredient, but this one is a little lighter and refreshing as it calls for club soda. Serves 4 to 6.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bottle red wine any will do, such as a Zinfandel, Malbec or Garnacha
  • 2 Tbsp sugar optional
  • 1 white nectarine or peach sliced
  • 1 yellow nectarine or peach sliced
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 12 oz club soda

Instructions
 

  • In a large pitcher or bowl, combine the wine and sugar, if using; stir until sugar is dissolved. Gently stir to combine.
  • Add the prepared fruit and the club soda. Gently muddle the fruit a little.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
  • Garnish with fruit from pitcher and add a slice of nectarine to the rim.
