A Sweet Treat for Halloween: Mama's Goodies Nut Crunch
A Sweet Treat for Halloween
Mama’s Goodies Nut Crunch is a traditional nut brittle that’s taken regular nut brittle and elevated it to a culinary work of art.
Mama’s Goodies Nut Crunch is a new, deliciously sweet treat we have for you this Halloween, and you can try it for free next week (Oct. 27-Nov. 2, 2010) with your coupon when you spend $30 or more!
This traditional-style nut brittle is made in Sunnyvale by Kathy Khodi and her mother Rohy Khorshidian, both Iranian immigrants, using an old-world family recipe. It’s a delectable taste bud temptation that’s made with the finest natural ingredients, such as pure honey, real maple syrup and real butter. The pair produces several varieties, such as almond, macadamia & coconut, cashew, sesame and pecan, and what’s more is that they’re all gluten free!
Our local vendors Fay and Sean Fatolahi of Fifi’s Sweet Sensations, the local company which brought you the chocolate and raspberry filled cookies as well as the saffron pistachio and almond espresso biscotti, are now the exclusive distributor of Mama’s Goodies. We’re simply delighted to have partnered with Sean and Fay to bring in the Mama’s Goodies Nut Crunch just in time for Halloween…you’re going to love this melt-in-your-mouth treat.
“Mama’s Goodies Nut Brittle is a home-style sweet snack that we’re extremely excited to bring under our distribution umbrella,” said Sean. “Our No. 1 seller is the almond variety, but my personal favorite is the sesame. It has a unique flavor you wouldn’t expect in a traditional nut brittle.”
