Radish Topped Toasts with French Butter and Microgreens
Serving radishes with butter and salt is quite French and generally served as a snack or as a little something for when it’s five o’clock somewhere. The toast part of this dish is our doing. Slice enough bread for each guest to have at least two slices, depending on when this is being served.
We carry a nice President French butter that we figured is as good a reason as any to make some of these toasts. Enjoy!
Radish Topped Toasts with French Butter and Microgreens
Ingredients
What you need:
- 1 or more bunch of radishes scrubbed, greens removed
- Slices of a fresh French or sourdough loaf
- French butter such as President, at least 1 Tbsp per slice of bread
- Flaky or sea salt
- Microgreens such as New Natives micro mix
Instructions
- Lightly toast the slices of bread under a broiler or in a toaster. Allow to cool at least 5 minutes so the butter won’t melt.
- Meanwhile, using a microplane or sharp knife, thinly slice the radishes.
- Spread a generous tablespoon of the butter over the slice of bread. Top with radish slices, sprinkle with a pinch of salt and top with microgreens. Serve.
