Marmalade, Ginger & Soy Glazed Salmon
This is a simple way to add incredible flavor to weeknight salmon. The soy sauce, by Liv Cook Eat, made by award-winning cookbook author and former member of the San Francisco Chronicle team that won the American Food Journalists Best Section award, is simply incredible.
It is a delicate, premium, naturally brewed and barrel-aged black bean soy sauce that is non-GMO and gluten-free. We carry both the Liv Cook Eat delicate soy and the finishing soy. Both are delicious for adding a little umami to dishes, from BBQ sauce to fish or lamb and even to brownies. Check the Liv Cook Eat website for more info and recipes.
Marmalade, Ginger & Soy Glazed Salmon
Ingredients
- 4 salmon filets (about 6 to 8 oz. each)
- 1/2 cup orange marmalade
- 1/4 cup Liv CookEat delicate soy sauce
- 1 tsp Sigona's jalapeño olive oil
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 4 green onions thinly diced on a bias
- sesame seeds if desired, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ºF. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Add salmon to baking sheet.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the marmalade, soy sauce, jalapeño olive oil, ginger and garlic. Spoon half the marmalade mixture over the salmon; set the remaining mixture aside.
- Bake salmon for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and spoon remaining marmalade mixture over the filets, then place back in the oven and bake another 5 to 7 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork (this is a sure sign it is done).
- Before serving, top with green onions and garnish with sesame seeds, if using.
