As most of you know, I’ve had the “medallions” available to you for several years, but the “big chunks” are a new addition to our DFN line and are absolutely superb – matching the excellent quality of the “medallions.”

Our crystallized ginger is harvested in Fiji and is grown and processed by a small family operation, headquartered in Monterey County, California.

Crystallized_Ginger_1The ginger is harvested while very young and only the most choice area of the root is used, the center. It is not stringy, but tender, soft and has great flavor. Masterfully dried to perfection, these ginger medallions are of absolute “off the scale” quality with a terrific balance of sweetness and a delightful pungent, spicy “kick.”

Our Fiji crystallized ginger is full of healthy goodness! And you can use it for any recipe calling for fresh ginger.
