Herbes de Provence Hummus
Hummus is a fabulous dip to keep on hand, for veggies, crackers, pitas and even grilled meats. Our herbes de Provence olive oil lightly seasons the hummus without adding too much flavor.
We love cutting up an assortment of veggies to go with hummus, such as cucumber, jicama, radishes, carrots, zucchini, mini sweet or bell peppers, celery…there are a lot of options in our markets! We have a lot of different radishes and carrots from which to choose as well, such as our organic Nantes or rainbow carrots.
Herbes de Provence Hummus
Ingredients
Ingredients:
- 1 15 oz can garbanzo beans, drained
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1 to 2 cloves garlic to taste
- 1/2 Tbsp Sigona’s roasted sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp salt or to taste
- 2 ½ Tbsp, plus more for drizzling, Sigona’s Herbes de Provence olive oil
Instructions
- Place everything but the olive oil in the bowl of a food processor. With the blade running, drizzle in the olive oil. Process until smooth. Adjust seasoning, if desired. all the ingredients in the bowl of a food processor and process until creamy and smooth.
- Serve with additional olive oil drizzled over the top.
