The 12 Days of Cheesemas 2024
Here at Sigona’s, we’re celebrating The 12 Days of Cheesemas! Every day from today until December 24th, we will feature a different cheese available at a super sale price for one day only.
Each cheese has been hand-selected by John Nava, our specialty foods & cheese curator. Some of these cheeses rarely ever go on sale!
Check out the lineup below to plan ahead so you get your favorite cheese while it is on sale.
- December 13: Sigona’s Belgian Bluebell – A youthful Gouda made for Sigona’s. Smooth & creamy with classic notes of caramel.
- December 14: Swiss Alp Maran Raclette – A Gouda-Gruyere cheese with outstanding depth of flavor and creaminess. Awarded best-in-class by the American Cheese Society!
- December 15: Swiss Alp Satteleggli cheese – The flavor of the cheese is mild, milky and creamy when the cheese is young. When aged, it has a firmer texture. The flavor shifts from creamy and mild to sweeter notes, with hints of caramel.

- December 18: Rush Creek Reserve – A cheese produced only in the fall. Rich, soft and decadent like a savory custard wrapped in spruce bark.
- December 19: Belper Knolle – A strong-flavored, hard, cow’s milk cheese from the UK. It’s coated with black pepper, giving it a spicy kick. It’s crumbly yet creamy.
- December 20: Parmigiano Reggiano – Aged 2 years and imported from Italy, this is the ultimate in flavor and quality. Perfect for finishing your favorite dishes.

- December 22: Moser Screamer – A bold, semi-soft cheese from Switzerland, known for its creamy texture and strong, tangy flavor. Made from cow’s milk, it is often seasoned with herbs or spices, giving it a unique, zesty profile.
- December 23: Harbison – A brie-like cheese wrapped in spruce bark. Gooey with a silky interior meant to be spooned out the top.
- December 24: Sigona’s Dream of the Mountain – Named in Switzerland by our cheese curator. Very aromatic with a distinct Gruyere flavor. Like an old-world L’etivaz, with a familiar cheddar-like finish.
