Simple, Healthy, Delicious: Boysenberries
Boysenberries have many virtues–they’re beautiful, good for you, and so delicious that you can serve them for dessert all by themselves or you can try them in these fabulous recipes:
You can leave the yogurt out if you wish for this smoothie to be dairy-free. Most days, I make mine without the yogurt.
- 1 frozen banana, cut into chunks
- 1 cup fresh boysenberries (you can use a mix of berries if you wish, such as blueberries, strawberries or raspberries)
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup yogurt – any flavor you wish (optional)
Directions: Place all of the ingredients in a blender; process until smooth. Enjoy!
