We have many infused olive oils and balsamic vinegars in both our markets and online, and we’d love you to try them all!
You might already have a recipe in mind for these flavors, but if you’re looking for a little inspiration, we’ve included links to some featured recipes below.
Here are some some recipes we’ve selected to feature this month:
Kale & Chicken Spaghetti Squash Boats with a DIY Tuscan Herb Caesar Dressing
All the flavors of this dish are simply outstanding. Using spaghetti squash is a healthy alternative to using pasta, but we promise you’ll hardly know the difference when you take a bite. Our Tuscan herb infused olive oil is a delicious blend of herbs, sun-dried tomatoes and garlic, and is great to use on everything from salad dressings to marinades.
Springtime Insalata Caprese with Basil Oil and a Strawberry Balsamic Reduction
Caprese is traditionally made with tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, olive oil and maybe some balsamic, but we put a little springtime twist on this easy appetizer and used strawberries with a strawberry balsamic reduction.
This salmon, served with our recipe for Kale & Citrus Salad with Goat Cheese and a Creamy Basil Dressing is a meal that is filled with bright flavors, different textures and a little kick from the jalapeños tucked into the salad. The salmon cooks up in about the same time it takes the balsamic to simmer and reduce, so the who meal comes together in no time.
If you love elotes – and really, who doesn’t – then you’ll love this salad. We use our smoky chipotle oil to add another layer of flavor and a little heat to the dish, too. This is a great side for Taco Tuesday!
We've worked with the Bonino family of LJB Farms in San Martin for years and years. They grow the best white corn around, and we're offering it to you for free this week with your coupon when you spend $30+ in our markets! (Valid 7/16/25 – 7/22/25 or while supplies last.)
What makes this corn so great? LJB knows how to grow it and they know exactly when to harvest it. What's better is that we get the corn within hours of it being harvested, so it's as sweet and as tender as it can be. The natural sugars in corn begin to convert to starch as soon as the ears are picked, so the sooner it's eaten after harvest, the better it is. Robbie Sigona, director of Sigona's Farmers Market, shares more details in this video.
Come visit Sigona's Farmers Market in Redwood City or Palo Alto, Calif., or find more info and the coupon at www.sigonas.com. Visit blog.sigonas.com for some of our favorite corn recipes, too!
